Maider López is a Spanish artist born in Donostia-Saint Sébastien in 1975. She studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Universidad del País Vasco, specializing in painting, and graduated in 1998. López's work focuses on intervening in public space and architecture, aiming to break the static nature of things and places, and inviting viewers to experience common spaces in new and potentially rewarding ways. Her work has been exhibited in numerous galleries and museums, including the Guggenheim Bilbao and Kunstinstituut Melly.
