Biography:
The Andokides Painter was an Athenian vase painter who worked in the red-figure style. He was one of the most important and influential vase painters of the early red-figure style, and is known for his innovative compositions and use of color. He was active in Athens in the late 6th century BC, and his works are highly prized for their beauty and technical skill. He is believed to have died around 515 BC.
