Biography:

Manit Sriwanichpoom is a Thai photographer, writer, contemporary artist and social activist. He was born in Bangkok, Thailand in 1961. He is best known for his photo set called Pink Man, which consists of photos of a man in a pink silk tuxedo and his pink shopping cart shot in different locations around the world. He is also known for his work in film, including producing and cinematography for Citizen Juling (2008), Shakespeare Must Die (2012) and Censor Must Die (2014). He has had numerous solo and group exhibitions around the world, including in Thailand, Singapore, Japan, and the United States. He has won several awards for his work, including the Higashikawa Prize from photo fiesta in Hokkaido, Japan in 2007.
