Biography:
Marcel Dúbravec was a Slovak painter, graphic artist and illustrator. He was born on October 24, 1948, in Ružomberok, where he also studied at the School of Applied Arts. He continued his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. Dúbravec was a versatile artist who worked in various techniques, including oil on canvas, watercolor, and drawing. He was known for his still lifes, landscapes, and figural compositions. Dúbravec died on April 27, 2006, in Ružomberok.
