Biography:

Antonio Ramírez, also known as Marco Antonio Pérez-Ramírez, was born in Santiago, Chile in 1954. He is a Franco-Chilean composer, nurtured with Chilean folk music. He studied guitar classique with Alberto Ponce and composition with Sergio Ortega in France. He is laureate of several foundations and his music is described as full of life and brûlant. He also has a background in mathematics.
