Marilyn Boror Bor is a Maya-Kaqchikel artist born in 1984 in San Juan Sacatepequez, Guatemala. She works in multiple media including photography, painting, printmaking, installation, and performance. Her art focuses on the power of indigenous languages and their thinking, and she has a degree in art from the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala. She is also an independent curator, art professor, and cultural manager.
