Mario Alejandro Ruíz Díaz, known as Mario Ruiz, is a Mexican footballer born in Morelia, Mexico in 1977. He started his career in 1997 with Morelia, where he became a symbol. In 2003, he was transferred to Tigres. Ruiz Díaz is a defender and has played for Club León. He has won the Mexican Primera División with Morelia in the Invierno 2000 tournament.
