Biography:

Mário Proença, also known as Mario Lemes Proença Jr., is an Associate Professor and leader of the research group that studies computer's network in the Computer Science Department at State University of Londrina (UEL), Brazil. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), Brazil. He is a professor of Computer Science at UEL and has expertise in Network Management, Computer Networks, Security, Anomaly detection, and Intrusion detection. He has published several papers in the field and has a strong presence in Google Scholar with over 2,658 citations. He is also the current president of the Liga Portuguesa de Futebol Profissional (LPFP), the governing body that manages professional football club competitions in Portugal, since 2015.
