Marta Cárdenas is a Spanish painter and artist. She studied at the Academia de San Fernando in Madrid and later in Paris, where she was awarded a scholarship by the French government. Her early work focused on portraits and interiors, but she later shifted towards abstract art, influenced by her travels to India and other exotic locations. Cárdenas' style is characterized by vibrant colors, textures, and geometric shapes. She has exhibited her work in various galleries and museums, including the Museo Reina Sofía in Madrid and the Fundación Juan March.
