Biography:
Martin Kaalund-Jørgensen was a Danish painter and artist. He was born on March 29, 1889, in Lihme, Salling, Denmark. After completing his education at the Kunstakademiet (Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts) in Copenhagen in 1914, he embarked on a successful career as an artist. He was known for his paintings and murals depicting various subjects such as landscapes, portraits, and religious themes. Kaalund-Jørgensen's works were exhibited widely throughout Denmark and abroad. In addition to being an accomplished painter, he also taught art at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts for several years. Martin Kaalund-Jørgensen passed away on October 9, 1952, in Copenhagen.
