Urs Fischer was born in Zurich, Switzerland in 1973. He is a Swiss artist known for his playful and Surrealist approach to art-making. His oeuvre includes sculpture, photography, drawing, painting, and publishing projects, which often interact with one another. Fischer's art offers an extraordinarily vast range of possibilities, and he has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions worldwide. He currently lives and works in New York and Zurich.
