Fry, Drew & Partners was an architectural practice established by UK architects Maxwell Fry and Jane Drew in 1950. The partnership was expanded in 1952 to include Lindsey Drake and Denys Lasdun as Fry, Drew, Drake and Lasdun. The firm gained commissions from within the UK, as well as worldwide, particularly in former British colonies in Africa, the Middle East, and India. Fry and Drew were key figures in the development of the governmental complex at Chandigarh, India. The firm was known for its pioneering work in tropical architecture and its contributions to modernist buildings in the region.
