Biography:
Md Ghani Bin Mat is a master craftsman from Kelantan, Malaysia, known for his skills in producing batik blocks. He is the creator of the Hibiscus Flower motif batik block, which is more refined and unique with additional elements. He has been making batik blocks for over 5 decades and has created more than 6000 batik stamps. His work is highly regarded in the East Coast and he is determined to pass down his expertise to the younger generation. He was awarded the title of Adiguru Kraf by Kraftangan Malaysia in 2011.
