Biography:

Mirela Maria Cretu is a Romanian artist born in Galati in 1988. She is a research assistant at the Dunarea de Jos University of Galati. She is also a dancer and president of the Children and Junior Division of the Romanian Federation of Sport Dance. In addition to her work in dance and research, Cretu is also a visual artist, with a focus on ethnomuseology. Her artwork, titled 'AIEVEA collection; Muntenia traditional shirt; based on artefact of the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant; date:2018; medium:LINEN; style:', was created in 2018 using linen as her medium. Cretu's work combines her interests in dance, research, and traditional Romanian culture.
