Biography:

Oriana Duarte is a Brazilian artist born in Campina Grande in 1966. She holds a Doctorate and Master’s in Communication and Semiotics from the Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), Brazil, and a Bachelor´s Degree in Industrial Design from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), Brazil. Her visual and theoretical research focuses on the human body, particularly the female form. She is also a professor.
