, a renowned Brazilian painter, draftsman, designer, and instructor, was born on August 29, 1867, in São Fidélis, Brazil. He began his artistic journey as a student at the Imperial Academy of Fine Arts in 1882, studying under notable artists Eliseu Visconti, Eduardo Sá, and João Batista da Costa.
