Peng Ximing, also known as Pang Chap–ming, was a Chinese painter born in 1908 and passed away in 2002. He graduated from the Shanghai Art Academy and spent his career in Shanghai where he had access to many private art collections. His works often reflect traditional Chinese painting techniques with an emphasis on ink and color on paper. Peng Ximing's paintings are known for their attention to detail, use of negative space, and ability to capture the essence of nature.
