Biography:

Paulo Reis, also known as Paulo Reis / Correio da Manhã, is a Portuguese photographer born in Lisbon in 1960. He is a well-known figure in the Portuguese media and political scene, having been one of the country's leading conservative politicians since the 1990s. Reis has been a member of the Portuguese Parliament in every legislative election between 1995 and 2015, and has served as Deputy Prime Minister of Portugal, Minister of State and Foreign Affairs, and Minister of Defence in coalitions of the PSD and his CDS-PP. He withdrew from politics in 2016. Reis is also a photographer and has worked for the Correio da Manhã, a Portuguese daily newspaper. His photograph 'Children in the concentration of the Brazilian team in the World Cup in Mexico' was taken in 1970.
