Biography:

Peng Jian is a Chinese artist born in 1964 in Beijing, China. He is known for his abstract paintings, often featuring bold colors and geometric shapes. Peng Jian studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1987 and his Master of Fine Arts degree in 1990. He has since exhibited his work in galleries and museums around the world, including the National Art Museum of China, the Today Art Museum in Beijing, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Shanghai. Peng Jian's work is held in numerous private and public collections, including the National Art Museum of China, the Shanghai Museum of Art, and the Guangdong Museum of Art. He currently lives and works in Beijing.
