Pietro Antonio Scorza was born in Torre Maggiore, Italy in 1676. He was a painter and etcher, known for his portraits. One of his notable works is the 'Portrait of Giacomo Attendolo Bolognini' which was completed in 1681. He was a pupil of Maratti in Rome and was influenced by the Dardi school of fencing with the spada da lato. He was also known as Pietro Antonio Pazzi.
