Equipo Crónica was a Spanish artistic group founded in 1965 in Valencia by Rafael Solbes, Manolo Valdés, and Juan Antonio Toledo. The group was active until 1981. Equipo Crónica used the aesthetics of pop art as a vehicle for combative political discussion. The group was in firm opposition to the Franco regime and dealt with social and political issues in their work. The group's work is characterized by its use of realism, irony, and humor. Equipo Crónica had a significant impact on the Spanish art scene and influenced other artists such as Rafael Armengol, Manuel Boix, Antoni Miró, and Artur Heras.
