Rafael Zamarripa Castañeda is a Mexican painter, sculptor, designer, dancer and choreographer. He was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico in 1942. He discovered his interest and talent in art at an early age and started practicing his sculpting skills at the age of eight. He enrolled in the school at age fourteen and started dancing with no formal training. He is known for his work as a painter, sculptor, designer, dancer and choreographer. He is the author of the sculpture 'The Boy on the Seahorse'.
