Ramón Acín Aquilué was a Spanish anarcho-syndicalist, teacher, painter, sculptor, writer and avant-garde artist who was murdered by fascists in the first year of the Spanish Civil War. Born on August 30, 1888, in Huesca, Aragon, Spain, Acín was a prominent figure in the art world, known for his unique style and innovative approach to art.
Acín began drawing classes with Felix Lafuente at the age of 10. He then entered the Second Teaching Institute in Huesca, where he developed his skills as an artist.
