René Bértholo was a Portuguese painter, sculptor, and sérigraphe born on August 8, 1935, in Alhandra, Portugal. He passed away on June 10, 2005. Bértholo was married to Lourdes Castro and was a member of the KWY group. He wrote for the KWY magazine between 1959 and 1963.
