Richard Varano

Biography:

Richard Varano is a world champion sand sculptor and the artistic director of the Jesolo Sand Sculpture Festival in Italy. He has been creating sand sculptures for over 30 years and has won numerous awards for his work. In addition to his work in Italy, Varano has also created sand sculptures for events and exhibitions around the world, including in the United States, Japan, and the Philippines. He is known for his large-scale, detailed sculptures that often depict historical and cultural themes. Varano has also worked as a consultant and instructor, teaching the art of sand sculpture to students and professionals. He is considered a master of the medium and continues to push the boundaries of what is possible with sand.
