Biography:

Robert Solli Burås was a Norwegian guitarist and songwriter, best known for his work with the rock band Madrugada. He was born in Stokmarknes, Norway in 1975 and began his musical career playing in local bands with friends and schoolmates. In 1993, he formed Madrugada with drummer John Lauvland Pettersen and bass player Frode Jacobsen. The band released their debut EP in 1998 and went on to release several successful albums. Burås was also the lead singer and guitarist for the band My Midnight Creeps, with whom he released two albums. He died in 2007 at the age of 31.
