Biography:
Rolán de Moys, also known as Rolán Moys, was a Flemish painter of the Spanish Renaissance. He was born in Brussels and was active in Aragon from 1559 onwards, having been appointed as painter to the Aragonese Dukes of Villahermosa in Saragossa. He is known for his portraits, including the Portrait of a Woman in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
