Wuhu Diving Equipment Factory Co., Ltd. of Shanghai Salvage Bureau, founded in 1971, is subordinate to Shanghai Salvage Bureau of the Ministry of transport. It is the only high-tech enterprise in China that develops, manufactures and sells diving equipment. The company is located in Wuhu, Anhui Province, China. It is a well-known research and development center of diving equipment in China. The company has developed and manufactured the first set of mobile open bell system and the first set of diving cage independently in China, filling the domestic gap. The company has also established a joint venture with JFD, a world-leading subsea operations and manufacturing company, to expand into the Chinese market. The company has received numerous international awards for its willingness and ability to operate in extreme bad sea conditions. The company also engages in commercial salvage work, and other forms of marine engineering.
