Biography:

Tullio Garbari was born in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy in 1871 and died in 1943. He was an Italian painter known for his still lifes and landscapes. Garbari studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and later became a professor there. He was a member of the Venetian school of painting and was influenced by the Impressionist movement. Garbari's work is characterized by its bright colors and loose brushwork. He was a prolific painter and exhibited his work in numerous exhibitions throughout Italy. Garbari's work is represented in many public and private collections, including the Venice Biennale and the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.
