Biography:
The Unión de Artistas Vidrieros de Irún (Gipuzkoa) is a group of artists from Irún, Gipuzkoa, Spain. They are known for their work in stained glass and ornamental glass. The first stained glass workshop in Irun opened in 1923 and the company was active until its closure in 2008. During this time, they created over 4,500 stained glass windows, sketches, and other pieces. Their works can be found in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. One of their notable pieces is the largest leaded stained glass window of its time, located at the Abando station in Bilbao, Spain.
