Václav Vavřinec Reiner, also known as Wenzel Lorenz Reiner, was a Baroque painter born in Prague, Czech Republic in 1686 or 1689. He died in Prague in 1743. Reiner was a significant artist in the Baroque painting movement, which was characterized by great drama, rich colors, and intense light and dark shadows.
