The maker's first piece to be offered at auction was "Du Medziai" at Peter Karbstein Auction House on November 20, 2018. He is known for his romantic and lyrical paintings that often depict relationships between humans and nature or man and woman. Vygantas Paukštė's work has been exhibited in various galleries and museums across Lithuania.
