Biography:

Włodzimierz Jan Zakrzewski is a Polish artist, painter, and graphic artist. He was born in Łódź, Poland in 1946. Zakrzewski studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw from 1964 to 1970, where he earned his diploma in 1970. He has exhibited his work in galleries and museums across Europe and the United States. In 1981, Zakrzewski moved to the United States, where he continued to create and exhibit his work. He returned to Poland in 2000 and currently resides and works in Warsaw. Zakrzewski's work is held in the collections of numerous museums, including the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, the National Museum in Warsaw, and the Museum of Art in Łódź. He is known for his abstract paintings and graphic works.
