Biography:
Weixin Quek Chong is a Singaporean visual artist born in 1988. She works with image, objects, audiovisual and at times performative elements to play with perception and tantalise the senses. Her artistic practice is characterized by a fascination with the stylization of natural elements, digital and organic memory systems and the relationships between the digital, organic and aesthetic. She has completed studies in both Singapore and Madrid. In 2018, she won the Grand Prize at the President's Young Talents awards with her artwork titled 'sft crsh ctrl'.
