Biography:

Zhang Huaijiang was a Chinese artist born in Wenling, China in 1922 and died in 1990. He was known for his woodcut art, which often depicted themes related to the war against Japanese invaders. Zhang Huaijiang was one of the most renowned artists in China, producing hundreds of prints and other works during his career. He was also a teacher and a graduate of the Shanghai Art School.
