Biography:
Zsófia Kanyák was a Hungarian glass designer and artist. She graduated from the College of Applied Arts and became a designer at the Hollow Glass Works of Salgótarján in 1971. The same year she spent a month on a scholarship at La Murrina and Moretti, two glass factories in Murano, Italy. Kanyák won several awards during her career, including first prize at the Indian Children's Drawing Exhibition in 1958. She passed away in Utrecht, Netherlands in 1975.
