Charles Voysey was one of the most successful textile designers of his age and is considered part of the English Arts and Crafts Movement. At that time, England was the most advanced industrial nation in the world; the products from the empire had a wide-ranging impact. Hundreds of English textiles and wallpaper samples were purchased for today’s MAK, which were to serve as models for domestic producers.
