Hostess gown in black silk velvet and azure blue synthetic satin; floor-length; fitted velvet bodice, cut-away front, waist-length back; plunging V-neckline, black satin bow at center front bust; padded shoulders; long butterfly sleeves; satin torso begins at center front bust with revers, extends into A-line skirt with train; dog-leg center front opening with hook-and-eye closures at waist; sleeves and bodice lined in black silk georgette, skirt lined in brown silk chiffon.
