Water Lilies, also known as Nymphéas, is a series of approximately 250 oil paintings by French Impressionist Claude Monet (1840–1926). The size of the paintings varies, but one of the most famous works in the series, held at the Musée de l'Orangerie in Paris, measures 2 x 2 meters (87 x 92 cm).

Created during the last thirty years of Monet's life, these paintings are a prime example of Impressionism.
