This sculpture stands out by its naturalistic values, underlined by a sensitive and detailed treatment of the forms, but in accordance with a modernist language of the early twenties. The memory of academic grace, inscribed in the sinuous lines of this nude, developed in spiral, adapts to a hesitant proposal of modernity, perceptible by the dynamism of the movement at the moment of capture of the figure. The sensuality of the moment and a timid feminine gesture, in an ambiguous attitude of hiding and revealing the body, are accentuated in its smooth carnation that the bronze casting emphasizes and in the formal detail, exploring the possibilities of the matter and the sculptural production.
