In the piece titled Resplandor (Radiance), the movement of the wavy rays stands out, emerging from a geometric structure with tree-like gracefulness. A triangle or pyramid divided into slots that let light and air through, holds the curves that seem to move with the wind. The pinpoint accuracy of the large triangle, subdivided by two smaller ones and a rhombus, contrasts with the explosion and ease of the top part, establishing an interplay of forces between intellect and passion. This series also includesother works of great beauty, such as the piece located in El Escorial, Spain, produced in the same period. The work was produced in 1995 and was donated by the author to the Museum of Art’s collection.
