The world of dance was the most important source of inspiration for chryselephantine designers. Even the most modern proposals, as the one from The Triadic Ballet of Bauhaus, served as a model to create these little sculptures made of bronze and ivory. Poertzel’s model reminds us of that avant-garde proposal, and more specifically of one of its members, Daisy Spies.
