“Twinkle, twinkle, little star, How I wonder what you are. Up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky…” This children’s song is familiar to everyone, and it teaches us that everything we see can be changed simply with a little bit of imagination. However, we must first accept absurdity and let go of logic before we can reach this imaginative space. Artist Yun-Ting Hung’s installation is composed of 70 bulbs that are suspended in the air, just like a cluster of twinkling little stars. As the audience focuses on the installation, their imagination will take flight as they see animals and shapes in the stars, much like those of a constellation. They may discover a world in which dreams are made; and the inception of these ideas serves as an invitation for viewers to continue pursuing their dreams, to understand themselves and the natural world around them.
