The Walk to Work (Le Depart pour le Travail) (1852) is an oil on canvas painting by the French painter Jean-François Millet. The painting (55.5 x 46 cm) depicts farmers walking to work. His earliest works are pastiches of the pastorals of the 18th century and rather erotic nudes, but he also painted portraits for a time.
