The weapons of the United East India Company and of the city of Batavia. The weapon of the VOC shows a sailing ship at sea; To the left of the weapon is Neptune, to the right Amphitrite (or a mermaid) with a mirror. At the bottom a festoon of shells, at the top weapons, banners, nautical instruments and attributes of shipping. The coat of arms of Batavia shows a sword crowned with a laurel wreath, armed on both sides with the seven arrows and a sword, the whole surrounded by two crossed palm branches. The inscription recalls the conquest of the city of Jacatra (on the English and Bantammers) on 30 May 1619. Part of the collection of heraldic objects.
