Bringing the English Admiralship the "Royal Charles," captured during the Tour to Chatham, June 1667. The ship is off the coast, in the foreground a boat, right in the distance a warship of the Admiralty of the Maze. To the left in the distance you can see the entrance to the port of Hellevoetsluis. In the lower left corner is a piece of paper with inscription in which the history of the ship is described and the painting is dedicated to Cornelis de Witt, who together with De Ruyter took the Tour to Chatham.
