The Admiral’s vessel of the squadron of the Holy League (comprised of Spain, Republic of Venice, the Papal States and Malta) which did battle with the Turkish squadron at Lepanto, on 7th October 1571. This model was built as a consequence of research carried out at the Museu Marítim de Barcelona workshop, prior to the construction of the replica on the fourth centenary of the battle of Lepanto. It is the result of 10 years of study.
