The shelling or bombardment of "s-Hertogenbosch by the French during the siege of 1794, presumably in the night of 25-26 September. Nightpiece in which the firing cannons and crashing bombs brightly light up against the sky. In the foreground the French camp in Klein Deuteren with officers on horseback, soldiers and marshals.
