At that time, the great central arch that gave way to the Portico from the outside also disappeared and was replaced by a double door with a curved pediment. Finally, between the years 1738 and 1750 the current baroque façade of Fernando de Casas was built, replacing Master Mateo’s. However, some vestiges of the missing exterior façade are preserved in the Museo Catedral, such as the large rose window, possibly belonging to one of the side doors.
