This German porcelain desk arranger was created to commemorate the centenary of the Dutch Royal House in 1913. It portrays the silhouette portraits of Queen Wilhelmina (1880-1962) and King Willem I (1772-1843) with the Royal Coat of Arms. The porcelain desk arranger was produced by the Max Roesler factory in Rodach, Germany. The base is marked in blue underglaze with the stylized R-M-R over shield with a rose. The item was donated by Louise van Gybland Oosterhoff to the University of Pretoria in 1937.
